How to apply a Transparency Gradient to an Object

Step 1

Select an object and click the Object Transparency tool. And then choose a gradient type and drag the nodes to set the gradient arrow in an image window.

Click on a node, and move the Node Transparency Slider to set the transparency value.

Step 1

First of all, you have to choose the Interactive Drop-Shadow tool, and select an object.

Step 2

After that select a preset and type the value in any of the following boxes:

  1. Shadow direction - specify the angle at which the shadow lies in relation

    to the object.

  2. Shadow offset - specify the distance of the shadow from the point of

    origin on the object.

  3. Shadow opacity - specify the transparency of the shadow.

  4. Shadow feather - specify the number of pixels on the edge of the shadow

    that are feathered to create a soft edge.

  5. Shadow fade - specify the percentage by which a perspective drop

    shadow fades as it moves away from the object.

  6. Shadow stretch value - specify the length of a perspective shadow.

Select an object and click Object tab from the menu bar and select Arrange followed by Order. After that click one of the following:

  • To front - places the selected object in front of all objects in the image.

  • To back - places the selected object behind all objects in the image.

  • Forward one - places the selected object in front of the object it is currently

    behind.

  • Back one - places the selected object behind the object that is currently in front.

  • Reverse order - reverses the stacking order of the selected objects. This

    command is available only when multiple objects are selected.

First of all, you have to choose an object and click on the Objects tab from the menu bar and select Arrange followed by Align and Distribute.

Click on the Align tab and choose either active, center of document, or selected to document. Then enable any of the horizontal and vertical alignment check boxes
