How to adjust the Transparency of a Mask

Step 1

Adjust the transparency of a mask to control the extent, which the pixels in the image are protected from changes when you click the Mask menu and select Paint On Mask.

Step 2

Apply a color, mask, object, or effect to the areas in which you want to change the transparency of the mask.

Step 3

Click on the Mask tab from the menu bar and select Paint On Mask to return to the image.
