How to sharpen the Selected Areas by applying the Brush Strokes

Step 1

First of all, you have to choose the Effect Tool at the Brush tools fly-out and open the Effect tool picker, then click the Sharpen tool.

Step 2

Choose a brush from the Brush type box and a nib from the Nib shape list box then move the Nib size slider.

Step 3

Finally, key in a value in the Amount box and drag across an image area to set the intensity of the stroke.
